VIRTUAL STUDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM

How is American Education is Funded?

Federal Government: 8%
State Government: 46%
Local Government: 37%
Private Sources: 9%

If Public Schools Are Funded By Taxes . . .

Then when homes are undervalued or businesses are underperforming, schools are underfunded!

Underfunded Schools . . .

Have to cut back on educational services including extracurricular and enrichment activities.

Reduced Educational Services . . .

Create a higher likelihood of students in low-tax area receiving a lower-quality education with fewer extracurricular activities.

Students Are Less Competitive . . .

For both college admissions and the workforce when they have not had the opportunity to receive a well-rounded education.

EPIC Solution: Step 1

Recruit members for our EPIC Communities Program who live in and around places with public schools that could benefit from additional resources.

EPIC Solution: Step 2

Conduct ongoing grant-writing and fundraising in order to get the financial support and supplies needed to conduct repairs and upgrades for our EPIC members’ lives and communities.

EPIC Solution: Step 3

Supplement the cost of repairs and improvements of communities (including the fundamental needs of the residents) while growing local (small) business and improving the quality of education for as many children as possible.
